CPM Australia has partnered with Swinburne University of Technology to offer rich industry-based learning opportunities to Master of Marketing students studying Services Marketing and Customer Management.
CPM has long engaged with the university sector and the Customer Experience and Insight (CXI) Research Group at Swinburne to create value for our clients, employees and wider industry through the integration of academic thinking and business practice.
We have a dedicated focus on thought leadership research and education to provide expert insights into consumers and the services sector. This focus includes a range of collaborations with CXI in the areas of customer experience, services (including retail) and consumer behaviour.
Our joint commitment to this partnership ensures a richer practical learning that provides the Master of Marketing students the opportunity to gain real-world insights and to contribute to solving current business challenges in services and retail marketing.
Convenor and Lecturer of the unit, Associate Professor Carla Ferraro says, “during the subject, students will be exposed to experiences that will prepare them to thrive in the ever-changing and transforming services marketing field, and gain access to industry leaders and projects”.
We are proud of the role CPM will now take in shaping marketing’s future workforce. Group Managing Director at CPM, Andrew Potter says “I’m delighted to partner with Swinburne because I believe tertiary education must involve building connections with industry to create graduates who are ready for the world of work.”
“We’re excited by what this partnership will bring, both for CPM and for Swinburne, laying an excellent foundation for the new cohort of retail and services marketers who will lead the way forward,” said Mr Potter.
